Professional Development

Professional Development should include ongoing training and be based on research on adult learning, as well as children’s development.  Various professional development strategies are being used in preschool programs, such as reflective coaching models which include observation and feedback, small group meetings, large-group curriculum training sessions, blogging, peer coaching/mentoring, team development, etc.  All professional development provided should include ways to follow through and evaluate effectiveness.  Refer to our training modules in supporting your needs for professional development.
