Please view this Loan Forgiveness and Cancellation Summary for more information about qualifying for this financial assistance.

You can also access this Teacher Cancellation Low Income Directory Web site for Federal Student Aid and this Federal Stafford Loan Forgiveness page for more information.

If you don't qualify for forgiveness or cancellation, view this information about Public Service Loan Forgiveness.  This program was created in 2007 and is for individuals who are working full time in public service jobs.  After you have made 120 payments, the remaining balance of your loan principle will be cancelled.  The first cancellations will not be granted until October 2017.

Please do not hesitate to email loans@doe.state.nj.us if you need further assistance.
