Mark Geiger

Mark Geiger Mark Geiger has taught mathematics at Lacey Township High School for the past 14 years. Previously, he conducted his student teaching at Robinson School in Condado, Puerto Rico. Mark’s current assignment includes teaching Advanced Placement (AP) Calculus BC, AP Calculus AB, Calculus Honors, and Algebra 1. He is also currently the Math Team Advisor, Freshman Class Advisor, Assistant Girls Varsity Soccer Coach, and chair of the Lacey Township High School Professional Development Committee. He is a member of the School Improvement Committee and is part of Lacey’s suicide prevention program as a Yellow Ribbon Teacher.

Mark’s commitment to his students and education is evident in the classroom environment he creates each year and in the programs and activities in which he is involved. He is consistently looking for new and innovative ways to teach mathematics in order to make it relevant and to connect to each of his students. He is also involved with mentoring and educating his fellow teachers, passing on his experience and ideas for the betterment of the entire school community.

Mark has a B.A. in Mathematics with a minor in Spanish from The College of New Jersey. He is certified to teach K-12 mathematics in New Jersey.
