Peter Dorofy

Peter Dorofy teaches Geospatial Technologies, Earth Science, and Physics at the Burlington County Institute of Technology in Medford, NJ.  He has a B.S. degree in Physics and is currently working towards an M.S. degree.  He is the Eastern Region Director for the National Earth Science Teachers Association.
Pete is an American Meteorological Society Distinguished Educator and the recipient of the 2010 Outstanding Earth Science Teacher Award presented by the National Association of Geoscience Teachers.

The study of the earth system is the primary focus in his teachings. In doing so, Peter prepares his students to become stewards of the Earth.
