The New Jersey Department of Education will release the names of the school districts designated as "In Need of Improvement" under the federal No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) today.
The news release listing the districts and explaining the designation will be available via GENS and on the DOE website at 12:30 p.m.
Commissioner of Education William L. Librera, Assistant Commissioner Isaac Bryant and other members of the DOE staff will participate in a call-in teleconference to respond to reporters’ questions at 1:45 p.m.
