Dr. Konzol is an associate professor and chairwoman of the Department of Elementary and Early Childhood Education at The College of New Jersey in Trenton. She has written several books, including Making Our High Schools Better: How Parents and Educators Can Work Together, based on her research on family-school relationships.
Limited seating is available for the workshop, which takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Passaic County Public Safety Academy in Wayne, N.J. The registration fee is $80. For additional information, please contact Meredith Coticchio at (973) 655-2115.
In addition to the Northern Region workshops, the DOE's Central and Southern regions are hosting several professional development workshops this fall. The workshops are all intended to help educators with a variety of professional development issues.
