About Course Roster Submission
The New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) is excited to be able to expand the development of its data system to include student-level course taking and completion data. This data enables school districts to study course taking patterns and post-secondary outcomes in new ways that ultimately provide a wealth of information as to what is successful in school districts, how course content aligns with end-of-course exams, and how successful student supports are.
Users submitting to the Course Roster Submission will need Staff Level and Student Level access to the NJ SMART portal. Submitters who do not have access to staff and student data must receive permissions from their Web User Administrators.
Users are strongly encouraged to participate in the April practice period to refine their data quality.
