In response to the H1N1 influenza outbreak, the New Jersey Department of Education has been working closely with the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services, Office of Homeland Security & Preparedness, and other state agencies to ensure coordination of planning, preparedness and communication on the state level.

The NJDOE created this website as a means of providing districts the most updated school-related information, guidance, and resources on H1N1 so that districts and school communities can be prepared for a potential H1N1 influenza outbreak.
