Schoolwide Programs

2015 – 2016 Title I, Part A Schoolwide Plans

The Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) §1114 (b)(2), requires annually that each eligible Title I school authorized to operate a Title I, Part A Schoolwide program must develop a plan for its schoolwide program in consultation with the local educational agency and its Title I, Part A schoolwide support/planning team.  This comprehensive schoolwide plan for reform of the total instructional program in the school must include the following information:

  • Description of the ways in which the school will implement the components of a schoolwide program;
  • Description of how the school will use Title I, Part A resources, as well as other resources to implement the components of a schoolwide program;
  • A list of federal and nonfederal programs that will be consolidated in the schoolwide program; and
  • Description of how the school will provide to the parents of children who participate in statewide academic assessments, their individual students' assessment results, including an interpretation of those results, in a language that parents can understand,

The 2015-2016 Title I, Part A Schoolwide plans are submitted by local education agencies (LEAs) (districts) throughout the state and are available for view, below.  Questions concerning any of these 2015-2016 Title I, Part A Schoolwide plans should be directed to the associated district and/or school.
