The Office of Career and Technical Education (OCTE) provides quality educational services and leadership for the state’s K-12 career education and counseling system and for career and technical education (CTE) programs.  OCTE works with county vocational school districts, comprehensive high schools, county colleges and state agencies to support quality CTE programs.

CTE in New Jersey benefits students, educators, business and industry by preparing students for careers in emerging and established professions that lead to technical skill proficiency, credentials, certificates, licenses and/or degrees.
