Career and Technical Education Programs in NJ Schools
IMPORTANT NOTE: The list of Career and Technical Education (CTE) Programs in New Jersey Public Schools had been recently updated as of November 17, 2009 to reflect the NEW Classification of Instructional Programs (CIP) 2010 (Reference: http://nces.ed.gov/ipeds/cipcode/Default.aspx?y=55).
This list of approved CTE programs and programs of study replaces all earlier listings of Department - approved CTE Programs. In the Excel spreadsheet, CIP 2010 changes from the CIP 2000 are highlighted in RED. Please note that the CIP 2010 Code should be used for any future CTE program approvals / re-approvals submitted to the department. Recently-approved CTE programs and CTE programs of study are highlighted in green or teal, with the date of approval / re-approval (and next projected date of re-approval) also listed for these programs.
Districts should contact the office’s CTE program approval coordinator Roger McCloughan at roger.mccloughan@doe.state.nj.us if they have any questions regarding the list of approved CTE programs and programs of study for their district.
