I received a request from a little girl named Isabelle in Ventnor, NJ to join her in blowing bubbles in support of autism awareness as part of the 8th annual Blow Bubbles 4 Autism Day. Her twin brother, Kyle, has autism and she wrote a book about him and their relationship. I read part of the book to my daughter Bridget’s class and then we went outside and blew bubbles between 10am and 10:01am. The campaign was hoping to set the Guinness Book of World Records for people simultaneously blowing bubbles in multiple locations. So there is a chance that we were blowing bubbles with thousands of people around the world! This was a very cool way to show our support for autism awareness and a great way to include Bridget and her class.
