Mrs. Christie went to visit Your Grandmother’s Cupboard, or The Cupboard”, in Toms River to announce her first NJ Heroes of 2011.  Jean and Clark Paradise started The Cupboard about 6 years ago by delivering food, clothes, blankets, and personal items with a donated trailer attached to the back of their car to the homeless and needy in the Toms River area.  Today they have multiple vehicles, trailers, volunteers, and an office/pantry from which they serve people in need throughout the state and help about 1,200 people every month.
