Governor Chris Christie Takes Action on Pending Legislation

Trenton, NJ –  Today, Governor Chris Christie took action on the following legislation:


A-1083/S-2150 (Quijano, Lampitt, Riley, Vainieri Huttle, Wimberly/T. Kean, Singer) – Requires the Higher Education Student Assistance Authority to develop and distribute a document containing student loan repayment information for school districts and nonpublic high school to disseminate to student
A-1968/S-2294 (McKeon/Gill) – Permits surety companies to issue blanket bonds for certain local government officers and employees; applies rating criteria and underwriting standards to blanket bond coverage

ACS for A-2947/S-2238 (Singleton, Burzichelli, Gusciora/Allen, Pennacchio) – Makes various revisions to laws concerning disabled person identification cards and placards related to parking privileges

A-3325/S-2049 (Ramos, Burzichelli, Amondeo, C. A. Brown, Wimberly, O’Scanlon/Whelan, Beach) – Authorizes certain cooperative purchasing agreements involving certain State and local government entities for certain purchases
