Governor’s Executive Order #61; Governor’s Executive Orders #45 and #29 are rescinded and superceded by this Executive Order
Purpose:
The Council coordinates planning, policy development, resource allocation and Statewide service delivery activities as they relate to HIV/AIDS and other related blood-borne pathogens. It recommends policy, legislation and other initiatives addressing the issues faced by the citizens of NJ living with HIV/AIDS and other blood-borne pathogens; educates the citizens as to the prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS and other related blood-borne pathogens in an attempt to decrease transmission of these diseases.
