The New Jersey Cancer Education and Early Detection (NJCEED) Program provides comprehensive outreach, education and screening services for breast, cervical, colorectal and prostate cancers.

The services provided by NJCEED include:

• Education
• Outreach
• Screening*
• Case Management
• Tracking
• Follow-up
• Facilitation into Treatment

Persons eligible for these services must be at or below 250% of the Federal Poverty Level and be uninsured or under-insured.

Request for Applications, Cancer Education and Early Detection Services The New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS), Division of Family Health Services, is announcing the availability of State Fiscal Year 2011 funds for agencies to act as Lead Agencies for the provision of cancer education, early detection, screening, outreach, case management, follow-up and tracking services to underserved and uninsured residents for the NJCEED Program. Eligible applicants include non-profit health agencies, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), and institutions that have 501(c) 3 status in New Jersey that meet the applicant eligibility requirements delineated in the RFA.
