Cathleen Bennett

Policy and Strategic Planning

Cathleen Bennett became Director of Policy and Strategic Planning for the Department in August 2010. Ms. Bennett oversees health information technology, strategic initiatives, health care quality and assessment, and the Office of Minority and Multicultural Health.

Prior to joining the Department, Ms. Bennett worked in the private sector providing services to federal and state health and human services agencies. She focused on the acquisition, delivery, and overall management of consulting, technology, and outsourcing projects. Ms. Bennett was recognized as a leader, having authored papers and made presentations to many state, regional, and national organizations, as well as judicial and legislative entities.

Ms. Bennett received her undergraduate degree from Villanova, her law degree from Penn State Law, and her masters in government administration from Penn. She is admitted to the bar in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
