Connie F. Calisti-Meyers, J.D. Assistant Commissioner Connie F. Calisti-Meyers, J.D., is the Assistant Commissioner of the Division of HIV, STD and TB Services. She is responsible for the oversight of all Department programs aimed at improving the health and quality of life of individuals with these conditions. Ms. Calisti-Meyers comes to the Department with extensive experience in management, strategic planning, public policy, project development and government relations over the past 26 years. Most recently, Ms. Calisti-Meyers was Executive Director of the New Jersey Council of Children's Hospitals, providing leadership and vision as part of that organization's mission of advancing children's health. Previously, she served as Senior Government Affairs Manager for Schering Plough, Director of Government Affairs for the New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Company, and as Senior Vice President/Business Advocate for the New Jersey Commerce and Economic Growth Commission. She earned her J.D. degree from the Rutgers School of Law, Camden.
