Regulated Medical Waste Project

Safe Syringe Disposal Guide (PDF 44KB)

An eight-page Information Guide for individuals generating medical waste at home. The guide includes a list of hospitals that participate in the Safe Syringe Disposal Program, contact names and telephone numbers. The Guide also lists valuable resources such as the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, American Diabetes Association, American Association of Diabetes Educators, International Diabetes Center, New Jersey Hospital Association, and the New Jersey Nurses Association.

Regulated Medical Waste Regulations

Govern the storage, transportation, collection, treatment, and disposal of specific categories of medical waste generated in the State of New Jersey.
