Reports were received from 195 schools from the following counties: Atlantic (4), Bergen (28), Burlington (1), Camden (2), Cape May (8), Cumberland (7), Essex (5), Gloucester (4), Hudson (46), Hunterdon (4), Middlesex (5), Monmouth (16), Morris (16), Ocean (4), Passaic (3), Salem (3), Somerset (33), Sussex (1), Union (3) and Warren (2).

The reported absenteeism rate among school students was 5.00%, which was down from 5.31% last week (this figure has been updated from what was reported last week).

Reports were received from 45 nursing homes from the following counties: Atlantic (1), Bergen (1), Burlington (3), Camden (1), Cape May (2), Cumberland (4), Hudson (1), Hunterdon (3), Mercer (2), Middlesex (2), Monmouth (4), Morris (2), Ocean (3), Passaic (6), Salem (3), Somerset (6) and Union (1).

The reported influenza-like illness rate among nursing home residents was 2.22%, which was up from 1.81% last week (this figure has been updated from what was reported last week).

Reports were received from 46 hospital emergency departments from the following counties: Atlantic (2), Bergen (1), Burlington (2), Camden (3), Cape May (1), Cumberland (2), Essex (4), Gloucester (2), Hudson (6), Hunterdon (1), Mercer (1), Monmouth (4), Morris (3), Ocean (2), Passaic (4), Salem (1), Somerset (2), Sussex (1) and Union (4).

The reported influenza-like illness rate among Emergency Department patients was 5.51%, which was down from 6.24% last week (this figure has been updated from what was reported last week).

There have been two isolates of influenza A virus and one isolate of influenza B reported in New Jersey so far this season.
