Reports were received from (119) schools from the following counties: Atlantic (6), Burlington (1), Camden (2), Essex (9), Hudson (3*), Gloucester (1) Hunterdon (5), Mercer (1) Middlesex (3) Monmouth (19), Morris (14), Ocean (4), Passaic (8) Somerset (31), Sussex (2), Union (1) and Warren (9).

The reported absenteeism rate among school students was 5.28%, which is the seventh for this school year flu season that started on September 23, 2003. 

Reports were received from (50) nursing homes from the following counties:  Atlantic (4), Camden (6) Essex (1) Gloucester (1), Hudson (4), Hunterdon (3), Mercer (2), Middlesex (2) Monmouth (5) Morris (3), Ocean (7), Passaic (5), Union (1) and Warren (6).

The reported influenza-like illness rate among nursing home residents was 1.51%, which is the seventh report for this flu season. that started on September 23, 2003. 

Reports were received from (41) hospital emergency departments from the following counties: Atlantic (3), Camden (3), Essex (1), Gloucester (2), Hudson (4) Hunterdon (1), Mercer (3), Middlesex (5), Monmouth (3) Morris (2), Ocean (4), Passaic (3), Somerset (1), Sussex (2), Union (3) and Warren (1)

The reported influenza-like illness rate among Emergency Department patients was 4.27 %, which is the seventh for this flu season that started on September 23, 2003.
