Licensing Examination

The National Association of Boards of Examiners of Long Term Care Administrators (NAB), which is composed of state boards or agencies responsible for licensing long term care administrators, contracts with Professional Examination Service (PES), a not-for-profit testing agency, to assist with the test development, scoring, and score reporting. The NAB/PES licensing examination is administered on computer (computer-based testing [CBT]) through the ProMetric multi-state network of testing centers. Individuals may sit for the licensing examination when all other licensing requirements have been met. Each applicant, when authorized by the Board, schedules their examination at one of the testing centers located throughout New Jersey. Applicants will receive unofficial results of their examination before leaving the testing center.
