The New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services compiled the information in this booklet with the cooperation of the New Jersey health plans. The Department was guided by an advisory group representing health plans, providers, large employers and the public.There are two types of health plans presented in this booklet - health maintenance organizations (HMOs) and point of service (POS) plans.
