The following information is provided to assist indoor environmental consultants and child care/educational facility owners in acquiring licenses and certifications required under the Standards for Indoor Environment Certification and for Licensure of Indoor Environmental Consultants (N.J.A.C. 8:50) [pdf 1mb]. Those regulations require that Indoor Environmental Health Assessments (IEHAs) be conducted at child care facilities by consultants who are licensed by the state Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS).
