TRENTON – In celebration of “National Health Center Week,” Health and Senior Services Commissioner Clifton R. Lacy, M.D. will discuss expansion and enhancement of Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) in the State of New Jersey.  The event will be held at the Henry J. The event will kick-off at 11:30 a.m. at the health center, which is located at 321 N. Austin Health Center, as well as Health Center physicians, staff, board of directors and patients.

National Health Center week was created to recognize the services and contributions of community, migrant and homeless health centers.  New Jersey’s FQHC’s serve more than 211,000 individuals each year, providing access to quality and primary health care for the medically underserved.
