Paterson–On August 14, Health and Senior Services Commissioner Heather Howard will participate in a celebration for moms-to-be and breastfeeding moms at the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center’s Women’s, Infant, and Children’s (WIC) program. This celebration will include a breastfeeding class, taught by a breastfeeding peer counselor.
This event will be held at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center’s WIC clinic, 11 Getty Avenue, Paterson at 11 am.
St. Joseph Regional Medical Center’s WIC Program serves three counties –Bergen and Morris counties and parts of Passaic County. There are currently 17 WIC sites in the three counties including three in the city of Paterson. The St. Joseph’s WIC program is the second largest program in New Jersey, serving more than 20,000 participants a month.
