Dr. Poonam Alaigh, Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services will deliver remarks at the HealthEASE Wellness Coalition Meeting taking place on Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at the Ocean County Office of Senior Services.  The meeting will take place at 10:00 am.

The meeting marks the 6^th Anniversary of the HealthEASE program.  HealthEASE is a program that improves the health and wellbeing of older adults in Ocean County through physical wellness activities, health education and health screenings.  The program has been nationally recognized for its success, and in 2008 was named by the United States Administration on Aging as a Program Champion.

Commissioner Alaigh will take pictures with older adults who have taken part in the HealthEASE program, and present the HealthEASE Wellness Coalition with a proclamation from Governor Chris Christie.
