DHSS Commissioner Mary E. O’Dowd Visits Morris Hall Nursing Home to Help Spread Holiday Cheer


 

(Trenton)  On Thursday, December 22, Department of Health and Senior Services Commissioner Mary E. O’Dowd will visit Morris Hall in Lawrenceville, to join residents in creating holiday cards for their family and friends.  The Commissioner’s visit is part of Governor Chris Christie’s “Season of Service” initiative in which administration officials engage in volunteerism and service efforts in communities across New Jersey.

 

The event will take place on Thursday, December 22 at 2:30 pm.  Morris Hall is located at:

Prior “Season of Service” activities conducted by Commissioner O’Dowd included:

  • Elijah’s Promise soup kitchen lunch with Commissioner Velez in New Brunswick
  • Volunteering at the Community Food Bank in Hillside
  • Visiting the NJ Sharing Network in New Providence to urge NJ residents to become organ donors
