There are no fees to attend the course, but you must be appointed or pending appointment to a Registrar position in order to attend the Course.
You must register a minimum of one week prior to the first day of the course.
No coffee, refreshments or lunch are provided. Students will be responsible for lunch on their own.
Students are responsible for printing the Registrar’s Manual prior to attending the course and to bring the manual to class. Instructions to print the manual will be provided when your registration is confirmed.
Registrars who have obtained CMR certification must obtain 18 recertification credits between the date of issuance and the date of expiration in order to recertify. Once recertified the recertification credits revert to zero and 18 new recertification credits must be earned prior to expiration of the current CMR certification. Individuals who fail to meet the recertification requirement must retake an Initial CMR training course and pass the examination to be reinstated as a CMR. Local Registrars and Deputy Registrars who fail to recertify cannot serve as Registrar or Deputy until being reinstated and therefore cannot perform registrar duties, unless reappointed as an Alternate or Sub-registrar. A 3 month extension to the due date for obtaining the 18 recertification credits can only be awarded to CMR’s who provide verifiable medical documentation establishing their inability to obtain the required recertification credits over the 3 year recertification period. No other extensions will be authorized.
