STARS and NJ STARS II
NJ STARS (New
Jersey Student Tuition Assistance Reward Scholarship) is a new program
that provides eligible high school graduates with FREE tuition and
fees at their county college. Students must graduate in the top 20%
of the high school graduating class in order to be eligible.
Recently,
the Governor and the New Jersey State Legislature enacted NJ
STARS II. This allows NJ STARS students who earn an associate’s
degree and maintain a 3.0 grade point average or higher, to transfer
to a New Jersey public four-year college or university and receive
FREE tuition and fees for their last two years of college.
