Applications and further information regarding the Addiction Training and Workforce Development Initiative are available through the New Jersey Prevention Network website at www.njpn.org.
Through its partnership with the Central East Addiction Technology Transfer Center, (CeATTC) evidenced-based best-practice education is delivered to the field. Currently, CeATTC is facilitating a 10-session, 60-hour Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) training for treatment professionals from DAS-funded agencies. The CeATTC also sponsors various one-day trainings in addition to conducting a yearly Leadership Institute designed to cultivate the development of future addiction leaders. DAS also offers tuition support to a limited number of applicants to attend the Rutgers School of Alcohol and Drug Studies. Classes are held each July and are open to employees of DAS licensed treatment agencies. One-day seminars are also offered throughout the year.
