One of the first acts of the OOA was the launch of an Interdepartmental ASDs Work Group to enhance and improve communication, collaboration and coordination among state agencies that provide services to persons with ASDs.  These departments include: Human Services, Children and Families, Community Affairs (Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency), Education, and Health and Senior Services. Collectively, the group produced the first comprehensive resource guide for individuals with ASDs and their families, “Navigating the Maze”:
