The division has a number of programs and initiatives available to eligible individuals that focus on the level of support needed to live in the community or his/her current living environment. Our programs and initiatives are implemented through partnerships with community provider agencies/organizations that serve individuals with developmental disabilities.
These efforts include programs/initiatives such as: Olmstead; Self-Directed Services; interactive educational workshops such as Pathways to Adult Life, Lifeline for the Journey and Life After 21; and Return Home New Jersey, which is an initiative to provide services and supports in-state for New Jersey residents who are currently receiving them out-of-state.
