The New Jersey Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) has a Wellness and Recovery Transformation Plan available that explains how New Jersey is proactive in including wellness into these transformation initiatives.  These initiatives are incorporated into our system of care because of concerns related to the age disparity and an individuals’ overall health status on their physical well-being.

In recognition of September as Recovery Month, and specifically for National Wellness Week from September 16-22, 2013, DMHAS’ Office of Consumer Affairs would like to highlight some of its Wellness Initiatives from Fiscal Year 2013, and the various wellness activities happening around the State at many of our local Self-help Centers.  Click here to read about Our Wellness Initiatives.
