Valerie L. Larosiliere, Assistant Director, Office of Treatment and Recovery Supports
Valerie L. Larosiliere is the Assistant Director for the Office of Treatment and Recovery Supports in the New Jersey Division of Mental Health Services. As Assistant Director, Ms. Larosiliere has oversight over the provision of expertise and support to predominantly community-based, specialty services. These services focus on supporting an individual’s community tenure through the provision of treatment and recovery supports such as Acute Care Services, Housing and Residential Services, Information and Referral, Intoxicated Driver Program, Justice Involved Services, Multicultural Services, Programs for Assertive Community Treatment, Supported Education and Supported Employment, Services to Families, Veteran’s Services and Workforce Development.
Ms. Larosiliere has worked in the field of behavioral health services since 1985. In the first ten years of her tenure in behavioral health she worked for private not-for-profit organizations in New Jersey. During this time period she developed experience in managing programs, developing strategic plans, directing quality management, developing new programs and budget planning and oversight. Valerie has worked for the Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services since 2004.
Ms. Larosiliere holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Fairfield University and a Master of Social Work degree from Rutgers University.
