Want to be a Lottery Retailer?

If you're a retailer who has been in business for at least six (6) months at your present location, you are eligible to become a Lottery Retailer with a Lottery machine installed at your site. Here's what to do:

• Contact your County's Lottery District Office to request an interview. Click Here.
• A Lottery Sales Representative will contact you for an interview and completion of a marketing evaluation which you must pass, prior to filling out your application form.
• Criminal history background checks will be conducted on all owners and each employee listed on the application. You will be charged an application fee (currently $18.00 for each person listed)
• A financial history background check will also be conducted on the owner or owners of the business.
• You will be required to open a separate Electronic Fund Transfer account at your bank specifically for Lottery funds.
• You should be notified within 4 to 6 weeks after completing your application as to whether or not your status is approved.
• If you're accepted to be a Lottery Retailer, you will be charged an annual licensing fee of $100.00
• You will be required to attend training on operating your Lottery machine, Lottery laws and other procedures at G-Tech headquarters in Lawrenceville, NJ. The training takes approximately 4 hours and attendance is mandatory.
