Intelligence Management Bureau

It is the mission of the Intelligence Management Bureau to protect the safety of our citizens through the mutual exchange of intelligence information, and the development, facilitation, and implementation of intelligence-led policing strategies. Our vision is to transform New Jersey's law enforcement intelligence process into a coordinated effort which will better serve the public. Through the collection and analysis of information and the dissemination of intelligence, law enforcement is better equipped to investigate and prevent crimes. The Intelligence Management Bureau coordinates New Jersey's law enforcement intelligence sharing capabilities through oversight of the New Jersey Intelligence System. The Bureau also oversees the activities of the Witness Relocation Unit, which provides a valuable support service for field investigators.
