The mission of the New Jersey Army National Guard Education
Center is to support the voluntary civilian education
programs of the members of the New Jersey Army National
Guard. Civilian education is related directly
to recruiting and retaining quality soldiers, enhancing
their career progression, both military and civilian,
and increasing the combat readiness of the Army National
Guard.
ALL
NEW JERSEY NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERS SHOULD ATTEMPT TO
MEET THE FOLLOWING EDUCATIONAL LEVELS:
Commissioned
Officers
- Officers
commissioned after 31 OCT 83 require a baccalaureate
degree to be promoted above First Lieutenant.
- No
officer will be promoted above First Lieutenant
after 1 OCT 99 unless they have a baccalaureate
degree.
- Commissioned
Officers should pursue graduate study.
Warrant
Officers
- CW2
- 30 credit hours desired.
- CW3
- Associates degree desired.
- CW4
- Baccalaureate desired.
- Master
Warrant Training Course - 60 credit hours required
for enrollment.
Enlisted
- E8
and E9 - Baccalaureate degree desired.
- E7
- Associate degree desired.
- E6
- pursuing Associates degree.
- E1
- E5 - high school diploma or equivalent required.

The Education Center is opened Monday through
Friday:
0730 - 1700.
Alternate Mondays are Scheduled Days Off
The Education Center is open weekends when JFHQ
drills:
