The aviation unit was tasked with several sling load missions during their deployment that provided much needed supplies to soldiers and Multi-National Forces within the area.
In addition, the Black Sheep unit were directly involved with KFOR ground forces on missions to ensure the freedom of movement within the areas of responsibility. Further operations consisted of air assault missions, providing ammo and supplies to troops on the ground, transporting military police reinforcements to strategic locations and providing aerial over-watch to ground commanders.
