National Guard conducts Career
Day for local students
HOWELL TOWNSHIP, NJ - On May 21, the New Jersey Army
National Guard is conducting a Recruiting and Career Day at the Howell
Township Middle Schools North and South and Wall Township High School.
Each of the Howell Township Middle Schools will
have an OH-58 Kiowa helicopter land next to the schools at 8:30 a.m. and
the pilots and crew will have an opportunity to visit with the students.
Recruiters will also be available to help answer the students’ questions
about career opportunities, tuition assistance and job training in the
National Guard.
After spending the morning at the middle schools,
the helicopters will move on to visit Wall Township High School, with arrival
scheduled for 1 p.m. At that time the students will have the same
opportunity to visit with the Army aviators and recruiting staff.
The OH-58 Kiowa helicopters are part of the 1st Battalion,
150th Aviation, New Jersey Army National Guard, headquartered at the Trenton-Mercer
Airport in West Trenton, N.J. |
