177th Fighter Wing Breaks Ground On Complex To Battle War On Terror
WHO/WHAT: Maj. Gen. Glenn K. Rieth, The Adjutant General of New Jersey; the New Jersey Air National Guard and the 177th Fighter Wing will host Congressman Frank LoBiondo, 2nd District of New Jersey at a Groundbreaking ceremony for the Air Support Operations Squadron Complex.
WHEN: Monday, Jan. 12 @ 2 p.m.
WHERE: 177th Fighter Wing, 400 Langley Road, Egg Harbor Township, NJ, 08234
Details: The 177th Fighter Wing will be breaking ground on a $9.8 million, 34,000 square foot, state-of-the-art Air Support Operations Squadron complex. The facility will support the Wing's mission in the Global War on Terror. Air Support Operations Squadrons deploy with and advise Army units on all aspects of air operations, weather and integrate air power into the Army scheme of maneuver effects on the battlefield.

Directions to the 177th Fighter Wing: Atlantic City expressway East to Exit 12. Left on Wrangleboro Road/County Route 575. Right at the next traffic light (approximately 1.5 miles). Continue for 1.5 miles until you see a sign with an F-16 on it for the 177th Fighter Wing. Turn left into the main gate. Security will direct you once you have entered the installation.
