New Jersey Army National Guard Units Will Deploy In Support Of Operation Enduring Freedom
WHO/WHAT: Friends, families, New Jersey National Guard leadership, Sen. Robert Menendez and local officials will attend a Salute to Troops ceremony for the more than 150 Soldiers from the 508th Military Police Company and for the dozen Soldiers of Military Advisor Team# 3. The 508th MPs will provide Security Force/Force Protection for multiple locations within Afghanistan, while MAT# 3 is tasked with coaching, teaching and mentoring Afghan National Army (ANA) units and supporting the operational planning and employment of the ANA.
