Flemington Armory To Host Welcome Home Ceremony
WHO/WHAT: The leadership of the New Jersey National Guard will honor the Soldiers of the 250th Financial Management Detachment during a Welcome Home Ceremony at the National Guard Armory in Flemington.
WHEN: Saturday, July 28 at 10 a.m.
WHERE: The National Guard Armory in Flemington, 422 State Highway Route 12, Flemington, NJ 08822
More Details: Soldiers from the 250th deployed last August to Kuwait in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. The Soldiers provided important core financial functions, which included disbursement operations, commercial vending services, military and travel pay, and internal control functions to U.S. Armed Forces, government civilians, DoD contractors, and many others. In addition, the 250th, which is part of the 50th Financial Management Company, deployed to Iraq in 2005-2006 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom IV. |
