Proposed Rule Amendments -- Licensing Service
The Motor Vehicle Commission has proposed an amendment to its Licensing Service regulations to authorize the Commission to scan applications, declarations, and documents that are presented to obtain REAL ID-compliant permits, licenses, and non-driver identification cards. The Commission’s proposal was published in the February 6, 2017 issue of the New Jersey Register.

The public has until April 7, 2017 to submit comments with regard to this proposal. The Motor Vehicle Commission and the Boat Regulation Commission have jointly proposed to readopt, with amendments, boating regulations.
