Enforcement Service Proposed New Rules NJAC 13:20-50B.50 and 51.16

The Motor Vehicle Commission has proposed new rules at N.J.A.C. 13:20, entitled Enforcement Service’s Abigail’s Law Regulations.

The proposal describes requirements concerning sensors that alert a school bus driver when a child walks in front or back of the bus.

The proposal is published in the May 21, 2018 issue of the New Jersey Register.  Copies of the proposal may be obtained on the MVC website, www.njmvc.gov; by mail or in person from the Motor Vehicle Commission, 225 East State Street, 9th Floor – East Wing, P.O. Box 162, Trenton, New Jersey 08666-0162; or requested by telephone at (609) 777-1407.
