Proposed Rule Amendments - Motorcycle Safety Education Program Rules
The Motor Vehicle Commission has proposed amendments to its Motorcycle Safety Education Program regulations. The rules that are the subject of this regulatory proposal, which are predicated upon standards and requirements developed by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation, govern the offering of motorcycle safety education courses by the Motor Vehicle Commission and by other entities approved by the Motor Vehicle Commission to offer such courses.
The Motor Vehicle Commission’s proposal was published in the September 15, 2008 issue of the New Jersey Register. Copies of the proposal may be obtained by mail or in person from the Motor Vehicle Commission, 225 East State Street, 9th Floor – East Wing, P.O. The public has until November 14, 2008 to submit comments to the Motor Vehicle Commission with regard to this proposal. Comments should be directed to: Steven E.
