The Motor Vehicle Commission has proposed to amend the regulations governing motor vehicle dealers, N.J.A.C. 13:21-15.1 through 13:21-15.15.

The proposed amendments clarify the existing rules and regulations while increasing document security and consumer protection. In addition, many of the proposed amendments reflect the fact that the Division of Motor Vehicles has been replaced by the Motor Vehicle Commission and the agency head is now the Chief Administrator rather than the Director.

The Motor Vehicle Commission’s regulatory proposal was published in the April 4, 2005 issue of the New Jersey Register.
