||Jim Hutzelmann is a Water Resource Engineer with the Highlands Water Protection and Planning Council.
Prior to joining the Highlands Council staff, Jim was with New Jersey’s Conservation Assistance Partnership program, where he was assigned to the USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service. There he designed various resource conservation practices for farms throughout Northern New Jersey, including many in the Highlands region. His experience also includes work as a project manager at engineering consulting firms with responsibility for stormwater management, wastewater system upgrades, and environmental site remediation.
A licensed professional engineer and planner, Jim earned a master’s degree in Water Resource Engineering from Villanova University, and a bachelor’s degree in Physics from Rutgers University.
