Members of the public are encouraged to submit comments on the Highlands Council’s Regional Master Plan Final Draft and Technical Report Addenda. The 90-day public comment period on the RMP also includes three public hearings.

Equal consideration will be given to comments regardless of how they are received. Comments not received using the methods listed will not be considered official public comments. It is requested that each comment be identified by a reference to a specific citation to the Table of Contents, with the commentor’s name and affiliation following the comment.

Three public hearings for the Regional Master Plan have been scheduled for the following times and dates:

February 6, 2008 from 4 p.m. to end of public comment

February 11, 2008 from 6 p.m. to end of public comment
Passaic County Community College, One College Blvd., Paterson, NJ

February 13, 2008 from 6:30 p.m. to end of public comment
Voorhees High School, 256 County Rt. 513, Glen Gardner, NJ

There is no pre-registration at these sessions. Speaker sign-in sheets will be used, and those choosing to speak are encouraged to leave a copy of their comments with Council staff.
