During the first weekend in November, four New Jersey high school students competed in the regional finals of the Siemens Competition in Math, Science and Technology. Lili Meng, a junior at Marlboro High School, Vincent Qiu, a Livingston High School senior, and West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South siblings senior Rose Soskind and her brother Michael, a sophomore, were selected from more than 2,000 students nationwide to participate in the prestigious science research competition for high school students. The competition offers $1,000 to $100,000 in college scholarships for winners in individual and team categories.
